As for the advantages of dipped gloves, we all know that the outer layer of glue plays a very good role in preventing oil, water, acid and alkali, and also improves the durability. However, the disadvantage of dipped gloves is also very obvious, that is, the rubber is impermeable, uncomfortable to wear in a hot environment, and easy to sweat.
During the development of gloves, the earliest labor protection gloves were made of leather or cloth. With the invention of the glove knitting machine, the variety of gloves became more abundant. There was no air permeability problem for either cloth gloves or woven gloves. Until the advent of rubber dipped gloves more than a decade ago, the air permeability of gloves became an inextricable problem. Dipped protective gloves are softer and lighter than leather gloves, and more wear-resistant than yarn woven gloves or cloth gloves. Therefore, they have been used as a shoulder for labor protection gloves in recent decades. Generally speaking, the dipped gloves are mostly palm dipped or semi dipped, and the back of the hand is exposed. This operation is mainly used by the factory to reduce costs, because the gloves are basically in contact with the palm and objects, and the back of the hand rarely participates in the labor process. The back of the gloves is not covered with glue, which is generally believed to increase the air permeability of the gloves. Although the air permeability is increased compared with the full impregnated gloves, the effect is improved, because the hand sweats mainly in the palm. Dipped gloves can only be improved on dipped coating if they want to completely solve the problem of palm air permeability. At present, the commonly used method is foaming treatment.
